A DAY OFF
(Or I'm Ferris Bueller)

Today I decided to play Mr. Bueller I took the day off. Now will pay for this later but what the hell. Today I'm on the homeless. I ride the bus every day, and I get to hear such interesting talk from a lot of the people who ride the bus. Lately their talk has been about how the homeless has such and easy life just siting around and eating and drinking beer all day. They have no cares no worries, they are just happily living off all of us poor tax payers.. And I smile to myself and think, (easy, these people just don’t know what they are asking for (be careful of what you ask you just may get it).
I just wish I had the power to get them out there so they can find out just how that life is. You start your day out at 5:30 army wake up time (drop you cocks and grab your socks). You are herded off to breakfast and then thrown out into the streets, no matter the weather (rain or shine) with all of the bags you have brought with you, so travel lite. Between 7 and 9 you have to find something to do according to the weather. If it's cold you usually ride the free bus that most city’s now have, that’s just to keep warm. Summer time you have to try and stay cool. An don't stop and close an eye, you will be run off at best, or arrested at worst. So you must keep moving all day until you can go back to the mission and get your sermon and meal. So that means chasing food and clothes all day, cause you have nothing else to do but sit in the library and read (again, don't close your eyes for one second). You go in to the mission to eat, shower , and get your sermon.. That's where the indoctrination takes place. That’s where the American Taliban comes into play. That’s where a lot of these crazy religious ideas come from..(That’s another blog).Does this sound easy yet....then you have to take a shower with some less than clean people, while all the time watching all of your worldly goods. Its a very prison like place. You have to listen because you are under their power. It is a prison without bars.....OK easy life.
The most hilarious thing about these talks is the fact the people talking are less than a paycheck from being just exactly where these people are. They usually are taking advantage of the very same programs the homeless are taking advantage of. Then they talk about all those people out there who are getting all the entitlements, they talk about killing the very programs that are saving them by putting food on their tables or a roof over their head Their
pastor has told them that this is socialism Jesus would not approve of that, but most of the people in the church are the very people Jesus came to save us from. Big Business (who is the beast by they way, yet another blog), are hand in hand in this grab for power.....you would be surprised by some of the stories that you hear.....so don't just dismiss a person just because he may look like a bum, find out what their story may be before you judge.
Now I know you ask how I know things about homeless people?....because I was there, I lived the life. I had the mentality , I walked the walk....I talk the talk. I learned a lot from that experience. There were a lot of highs and there were also a lot of tears. But God used to show up for me big time and he is not the God of church. He saved me and he molded me in the flames of life and I' m a better or a more perceptive person because of it.(again another blog).
So don't think for one moment that lifestyle is easy.....don't be so eager to get out there (but you would learn a lot).......I did so don't be shy ......reply........
