Post Convention Musings

Mad Mac2012

Now that the two parties have had their conventions , now that all the lies have been told and all visions have been seen I have had a vision of my own of America and what I see is not a pretty picture. All of these people are sitting there telling the “working class” how much they love us and how much they want to help us make our lives better. All of them (according to them) can't sleep at night worrying about how the middle class will progress and how much they are going to make our lives better.

Well how about going back to the way things were back in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Things were pretty good back then. Everyone was working, jobs were plentiful, high paying and you even had benefits. Health care was a minor concern because if you had a job you had health insurance. One man could take care of a family of 6. He was buying his own home, he could feed his family well, he could clothe them and could even buy a new car every 4 or 5 years. Everyone was getting a piece of the pie. The rich were still rich, they were making good money. Race relations moved, no not moved jumped light years ahead of where they were previous to that time.

Our grandfathers knew something because they were the ones who put in all the hard work to make things so good for succeeding generations. They were the ones who had to wonder how they were going to take care of their families? They made the hard choices to make things right and endured the hardships necessary to secure their futures. To make things better for themselves and their families they lived a harder life so as not to knuckle under to the people who tried to exploit them. They joined unions and used the power of collective bargaining to obtain safer working conditions and a living wage.

Unfortunately there is another group pf people who got together and decided that they wanted it all. They wanted to rule the world and sadly it appears they are on their way to doing exactly that. Their first mission was to change the thinking of the working class (which was huge by the way). They choose to do this by diverting our attention by starting a campaign to confuse us as to who the real enemy is. Ever wonder why most young people can tell you who Snookie is but not who the Secretary of State is? That's when our fathers and then us dropped the ball. We were trained to not believe our own eyes and to not think for ourselves.

Don't keep letting people tell you that you are crazy for doing things for yourself. Remember that people will always call you selfish when you refuse to give them something they want. Their ultimate goal is to put money in their pocket and not in yours. They do not want you to “ follow the money” Hopefully this is where I come in I will help you to follow the money. You don't have to be a Rhodes Scholar, nor do you have to be an insider to know what people are saying behind closed doors, just follow the money and you will see what they really think. There is a lot of information to talk about and we will go farther and deeper into it in future blogs. Til then this is MADMAC (that guy) telling you what a working man sees.
