THE
SMILE
Now
that the sad singing, and we are not yet finished with the flower
bringing.....there is a semi smile on my face. This election was
more about policies, and not so much about the men running for
president. I smiled because what I have always, said about society,
that here in America, when you start hitting middle class white
America, then you can starting getting things accomplished. And what
most of white America sees is, how apartheid works.....against them
not for them. We in the black population (use older folks) know a
little something about that. When it is done against your own people
( and in the lords name), its called class warfare.....being
segregated either by color or money, you come up with the same
outcome......we no longer have any access to any of the places or are able to do
many of the things that can be done by the “1%”.... we, the
99%” no longer have the ability to buy a new car or a house; or
try going to a movie. Once most of the “99%, did not
consider these things as being luxuries, but things most ordinary
people could easily afford, and could use this as relaxation.....try
to do any of these things now, you would lose a whole days pay to go
to go to a movie......you almost have to take out a loan to go to a
concert, a football, baseball, or basketball game today.....I have
been to a Superbowl, a N.B.A finals game (3) and just about all the
big name concerts of that era (and I was not in the nosebleed seats).
What
made me smile is the fact we stood together and said we are mad as
hell and we aren't going to take it anymore. I think we really are
beginning to see who our real enemy is.....companies are making
record profits, and we are working twice as hard as we ever worked,
an not sharing in any of the profits that the “1%” are
enjoying.....what we are getting is low pay, no benefits, and a
choice every week of what type of bill we will pay this week and who
we will have to avoid until next time. The raises you get in these
situations is a pat on the back and cupcakes, or pizza ( doesn't that
just make you want to run thru a brick wall for some company).....the
most over used and overrated statement that can be made to you is,
“well at least you have a job”, yea slaves have jobs too.
This
is where the smile on my face comes in.....most people are not being
fool any more, they now realize it's not the men.....but the policy
and the mindset of the people who put them into play. For those of
you who think this is a 4,8,or 12 year deal, you are wrong …..this
started 30 years ago under that union breaker RONALD REGAN, a mindset
started of the “1%” to take over not only America but the whole
world, we now seem to be ready to stand together and say enough, its
not about race anymore, but about money....we are finally are standing
up to people who grab there bibles and tell us we are all lazy, an
want handouts from them (while all the time they are stealing every
dime they can get an breaking every biblical law that exists). I smile
because we got a start, and it is only a start. Because no politician
will save us.....So let just keep on trucking........things can get
better.
